Preparing you for a lifetime of driving

I'm a Grade A independent driving instructor based in Kingsteignton, Devon who provides learner and qualified driver training, Pass Plus and specialises in disabled driver training in both a manual and an adapted automatic car.

Since 2015 I have been specialising in training people with disabilities, mainly learning disabilities. I have undertaken training with Cornwall Mobility, QEF, Motability and DIA to improve my knowledge and skills in this area. I have an adapted automatic Honda Jazz, please contact me to discuss your requirements.

Pass Plus is a course designed to follow on from what people learn before taking their test.  It can help you to further develop your skills and a positive driving style which will help reduce your risk of being involved in an accident.

It is a course covering 6 modules, including motorway and night driving, and there is no test to take at the end, I assess your driving throughout and once you have reached the required standard you’ve passed!  There is a minimum of 6 hours tuition and anyone who passed their test with me will save £10.

I am able to offer all my customers access to Driving Test Success to help you fully prepare for the multiple choice questions and hazard perception videos. I can monitor your progress and offer tailored support.

No matter at what age you are learning to drive the process can at times be fun, stressful, exciting, scary and everything in between.  It’s important to remember that different people learn at different rates and there are bound to be some parts of learning to drive that you find easier than others.

29th June 2020

The DVSA have given the go ahead for driving lessons and theory tests to resume on 4th July and driving tests from 22nd July. Due to my increased risk of complications should I catch Covid-19, I have decided to delay my return until Monday 3rd August. I will be discussing the situation with my customers from before lockdown and those on my waiting list over the next couple of weeks. I have had to temporarily close my waiting list until I know more about tests and timescales. However, if you are looking to start driving in 2021, please contact me.
