DRIVE WITH EMMA
Preparing you for a lifetime of driving
I'm a Grade A independent driving instructor based in Kingsteignton, Devon who provides learner and qualified driver training, Pass Plus and specialises in disabled driver training in a manual car.
AN INTRODUCTION TO LEARNING TO DRIVE
No matter at what age you are learning to drive the process can at times be fun, stressful, exciting, scary and everything in between. It’s important to remember that different people learn at different rates and there are bound to be some parts of learning to drive that you find easier than others.
SPECIALISING IN DISABLED DRIVER TRAINING
Since 2015 I have been specialising in training people with disabilities, mainly learning disabilities. I have undertaken training with QEF, Motability and DIA to improve my knowledge and skills in this area.
Pass Plus is a course designed to follow on from what people learn before taking their test. It can help you to further develop your skills and a positive driving style which will help reduce your risk of being involved in an accident.
It is a course covering 6 modules, including motorway and night driving, and there is no test to take at the end, I assess your driving throughout and once you have reached the required standard you’ve passed! There is a minimum of 6 hours tuition and anyone who passed their test with me will save £10.
FREE THEORY TEST TRAINING THROUGH DRIVING TEST SUCCESS
I am able to offer all my customers access to Driving Test Success to help you fully prepare for the multiple choice questions and hazard perception videos. I can monitor your progress and offer tailored support.
I am an independent, fully qualified Grade A Approved Driving Instructor based in Kingsteignton, South Devon. I provide learner driver training, qualified driver training, am a Pass Plus registered instructor and am trained to teach people with various physical and learning disabilities. I provide manual lessons in a diesel Ford Fiesta.
I pride myself on a friendly and reliable service and will tailor lessons to the customer. Everyone is an individual and I believe that their experience of learning to drive should be fun, interesting and unique. I specialise in teaching those with disabilities and nervous drivers. I will structure a learning programme unique to you and we work at your pace and work together to build your progress week on week. I use the National Standards for driving as the basis and use these to ensure you are fully prepared not just to pass your test but for a lifetime of driving.
I offer free of charge theory test training through Driving Test Success to all my customers – just ask for more details.
I work most Saturdays and one evening during the week so am flexible and can usually work around your other commitments. I cover Ashburton, Bovey Tracey, Chudleigh, Kingskerswell, Kingsteignton, Newton Abbot, Teignmouth, Torquay and surrounding villages. I am also a member of the Driving Instructors Association and abide by their code of conduct.
I have experience of working with people with a variety of learning and physical disabilities and understand the implications this can have on learning to drive. I am also trained to provide tuition in adapted vehicles for those with physical disabilities but I do not have an adapted car myself. I can provide training in my vehicle if you have a physical disability that does not require any adaptations.
Why not check out the rest of my website or give me a call or email for more information – if I don’t answer I’m probably on a lesson so leave me a message and I’ll call you back as soon as I can. I am happy to meet face to face with no obligation to further discuss your requirements. You can find reviews for me on Facebook and Google (search for Drive with Emma).
